This one-of-a-kind event aims to raise funds to support local cancer patients and their families in their time of need. Laugh until your tummy aches! Crack up Cancer Comedy Benefit delights and brings some of the best laughs at the best prices anywhere.

Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation
Providing non-medical, financial assistance to adults undergoing cancer treatment in Florida to allow them to focus on fighting cancer.
A cancer diagnosis can change everything. For some, it may mean the added stress of financial hardship. The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation provides financial support to qualified adult cancer patients in the state of Florida for expenses such as rent or mortgage, car payments and car insurance, and utility bills. By giving patients peace of mind in knowing that their bills are being paid while they are undergoing treatment, the FCS Foundation allows them to concentrate on what really matters – fighting cancer.
Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.
Meet The Comedians
Hugh Carey
Hugh is a part-time comic and full time sovereign of sass. From being a missing milk carton baby, to selling crystals to housewives, to producer and host of St. Petersburg’s hit Unholy Comedy Show at Zubrick Theatre, Hugh is a rising star in the Florida comedy scene — bringing his playful sense of humor to the stage. Hugh was picked as a participant in the New Faces Comedy Competition at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa, the first winner of the Tampa Bay Roast League, recent winner of the Comedy Store’s Roast Battle with Jeff Ross in Los Angeles, and 2023 Best Of The Bay’s Critic’s Choice Award winner from Creative Loafing. Hugh has worked with Hans Kim, Audrey Stewart, Zach Zimmerman, Britney Brave, Sean Finnerty, and more. You catch him performing comedy all around the Southeast!
Vien Phommachanh
Doctor By Day | Comedian By Night Yes, he is a real life doctor. Seriously. Dr. Phommachanh is a practicing ear, nose, and throat doctor in Sarasota, FL. During the daytime, Dr. Phommachanh is really helpful if you have an ear infection, runny nose, or sore throat. Call for an appointment. Medical advice given after shows will be for his amusement only. He is based in Florida, but Vien has performed standup all over the United States and overseas with stops in LA, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, as well as The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and Adelaide, Australia. He has participated in numerous comedy festivals including The Asheville Comedy Festival, World Comedy Expo, Clean Comedy Challenge, Main Event of the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas, NV, North Carolina Comedy Festival, and Adelaide Fringe. ComicDoc has also been seen in numerous commercial roles and Television on CBS. Look out for his DryBar Comedy special expected Spring 2024. He is currently touring with the Heroes Off Duty and White Collar Comedy Tours.
Sheena Reagan
Sheena Reagan is a comic and writer from Cape Coral, Florida. Named Florida’s Funniest Female in 2018 Sheena has been touring the Florida scene and winning over audiences with her fresh outlook and explosive personality. She has also been seen at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, Comedy Bar Chicago, and has opened for names such as John Lovitz, Damon Wayans, Paul Reiser, and Bryan Callen, to name a few. Sheena’s versatile and unique material will have audiences of all kinds laughing all night and leaving with a smile.
Matt Fernandez
Matt Fernandez’s approach to comedy comes off as detached and nonchalant. Originally from Tampa, Matt has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy (Jim Jefferies, Bill Burr, and Dave Chappelle to name a few). Not only has he written articles for College Humor and Playboy. He’s also a 2nd City alum, and has been featured on Sirius XM Radio. He’s a regular guest on Doug Loves Movies and was named one of the 15 funniest comedians you should be following on Twitter by funnyordie.com. His tweets have also been featured on Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Today Show. In 2018, Matt released his one hour special; Why Does Everyone Hate My Mirror? on Amazon. Add to that performances at the Funny or Die Oddball Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. It all adds up to a fascinating brand of irreverent comedy.
Danny Johnson
Danny Johnson’s hilarious, clean stand-up has entertained audiences in comedy clubs, corporate events, and churches nationwide for over 15 years. Danny has been humbly compared to Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin James, and Jackie Gleason, blending his original material with his now renowned facial expressions. Danny’s show is relatable, entertaining, and always evolving. Danny has starred in numerous TV commercials, Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots, Florida’s Funniest Comedian Top 10 Finalist, Winner-Carnival Cruise line Comedy Challenge, Finalist in Search for the One Christian Comedy contest, recently filmed his wildly popular Dry Bar Comedy Special, and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Chris Rock, Bob Saget, Billy Gardell, Richard Lewis, Norm McDonald and a variety of others.Thank You To Our Supporters!
